Music Audio Recording

Mission Statement
The mission of the Vincennes University Music Audio Recording program is to provide students with fundamental and transferable skills in all facets of audio production and musicianship. Our state of the art facilities offer students the opportunity to experience and take part in the recording process as it happens in the industry. Students are taught in classroom, lab and small group settings in which they learn through traditional instruction and demonstration and actual hands-on lab experience using software and hardware that is the standard of the industry. Students integrate the skills and knowledge acquired as they develop competencies in music and technology.  Audio Recording and Music courses prepare students for further study and future employment in the field of audio recording.
