Radiography

Mission Statement
The mission of the Vincennes University Radiography program is to prepare students to provide quality medical imaging services to meet the needs of patients experiencing a broad range of health care needs throughout the lifespan. The Radiography program adheres to professional standards set by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The Radiography program is a cooperative educational service provided by local hospitals and Vincennes University to offer students a broad range of educational experiences, including courses in general liberal education and radiographic technology. Through a variety of classroom, laboratory, and practical clinical experiences, students will gain an understanding of the ethical, legal, and technical responsibilities of the professional radiographic technologist. The Radiography program prepares both traditional and nontraditional students for licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or transfer to a baccalaureate program.
