Physical Education

Mission Statement
The mission of the Vincennes University Physical Education program is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue lifespan physical activity and to gain future employment in the fields of physical education teaching, fitness-wellness-personal trainer, and sports management.  Through classroom, laboratory, and co-curricular experiences, students will be able to identify the components of a quality physical education and sport program, perform exercises correctly and safely, and possess a clear understanding of the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain a regular exercise program.   Physical Education courses contribute to the University Core Curriculum and prepare students for transfer to baccalaureate programs.
