Key Tools for Assessment Results and Improvements

Key Tools for Assessment Results and Improvements: Rubrics (Not Checklists) and Reflections
Analytic rubrics produce more specific assessment results than checklists and help students better identify task specifics, while reflective activities help faculty and students understand students' thinking about the learning process.

This workshop will take faculty through the process of developing analytic rubrics while showing how they are an improvement over checklists.  A reflection review, suggestions for reflective activities, and reflective results use will also be covered.
